Love that car, and I am glad I found someone who prefers the one-piece euro lights as well - in fact they are rarer than the US lights because many received them as updates.

That's an old Italian front plate from the province of Milano. Quite strange, on a Merc with USA headlights. In the past and before being conquered by the Germans (heil, Angela!), we Italians had a big back plate and a very little front one, that was only there for the Police to give parking fines without having to look at the back of the car, as it's logical and as it should always be. BIG front plates are a German invention and are stupid by definition.
